EVAN SEINFELD Says New BIOHAZARD Album 'Is Going To Be So F**king Brutal'
May 27, 2010BIOHAZARD bassist/vocalist Evan Seinfeld has issued the following update:
"34 days and counting 'till Hellfest! Biggest rock and metal festival of the year in France... Totally psyched to see all my friends in the DEFTONES, SICK OF IT ALL, SEPULTURA, FEAR FACTORY, INFECTIOUS, AGNOSTIC FRONT, SLAYER, SKARHEAD, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, TWISTED SISTER, MOTÖRHEAD, KISS, SLASH, EXODUS, SWORN ENEMY, EARTH CRISIS and others... SO many heavy bands I am actually going as a fan.. psyched to also see ANVIL and SAXON.
"I am going to take a photo with IMMORTAL and send it to Philip Anselmo; he loves those guys.
"It will be nice to take a break from the studio and get out and move the crowd. Just
like making music is creating sound, where power moves a speaker and moves air, BIOHAZARD's mighty power will move the air that moves the crowd and moves the people inside and out...
"New BIOHAZARD album is going to be so fucking brutal, I can't wait to unleash it upon the world, like a virus, that will spread and infect.
"Gotta get me some of the good bread in France, too; the bread here in L.A. sucks... for real.
"Sometimes I don't get to see any of my other friends in bands until we play together, maybe a spades game between me and Billy, and Roger and Joe from AGNOSTIC FRONT... Who knows? Either way, I'm totally psyched to just rip loose for a big metal weekend!"
The reunited original lineup of BIOHAZARD entered Los Angeles' Underground Sounds Studio on January 19 to begin recording its new album for a late summer 2010 release. This is the first time the four original members — Evan Seinfeld, Billy Graziadei, Danny Schuler and Bobby Hambel — have recorded together since 1994's breakthrough CD "State Of The World Address".
BIOHAZARD last year finished a 22-month reunion world tour where the band played 100-plus shows on five continents.
